What lasers are
The
word “laser” is an acronym of Light Amplification
by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
In
physical terms, a laser beam is merely a highly concentrated
wavelength of light, as the waves of which it consists are
interrelated in a certain way (coherence).
Each
laser has just one wavelength, so its colour is highly pure. But
as it is outside the visible spectrum it cannot be seen by the
human eye.
How lasers work
Laser
therapy uses only what are known as “low-level” or “soft”
lasers, which function with little power. They cannot be
compared with the lasers used for surgery or ophthalmology, with
which operations are performed. Low-level lasers stimulate the
irradiated tissue without damaging it.
It has
now been scientifically demonstrated that the cells of which all
living things are formed communicate via the emission and
reception of very weak coherent light, or in other words, by
laser light (what is called “cellular radiation”).
Thus
information can be transmitted from cell to cell, which is a
vital function of a healthy organism. Studies have already
shown, for example, that cancer cells start growing
disproportionately because they have lost contact with each
other.
Low-level laser light acts on the human body at various levels.
Cells can be influenced by certain laser oscillations, and laser
light has been shown to effect metabolism. It has also been
shown to trigger regulatory processes in the brain and bone
marrow, along with hormonal reactions after its application.
Therapeutic possibilities of laser light
Low-level laser light can be applied therapeutically in various
areas. Below we list some of its most notable possibilities:
1.
The ordering and harmonizing influence of laser
light is used to “caress” surface areas of the body (e.g. in
injury-healing disorders, skin disorders, etc.).

2.
In LASER ACUPUNCTURE the laser is applied at
certain points using the “meridian” system of traditional
acupuncture. Thus it is possible to apply the wide possibilities
of acupuncture treatment with no side effects for highly
sensitive patients or even children, as no needles are used.
3.
In HYBRID THERAPY the application of laser beams
is combined with acupuncture.
4.
Laser beams can also support, or even partially
replace, the use of needles in AURAL ACUPUNCTURE.
5.
In REFLEX ZONE THERAPY the use of lasers is
recommended to complement manual stimulation.
Side effects
Laser
therapy has hardly any side effects. Any possible risks involved
in it can be completely averted if the safety rules and
regulations are strictly complied with.
Laser
therapy causes no pain whatsoever, as it consists “only” of
light beams.
